TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective Date: 8 September 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Pressed (Pty) Ltd.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.macpressed.com and your purchase of products through our website.
By using this website or placing an order through our online store, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the website or place an order.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit or exclude any rights that you have under applicable South African law. A supplier may not use contractual terms to unlawfully deprive a consumer of rights provided by the CPA.

3. Products
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices, sizes and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However:

  • Product photographs are for illustrative purposes and actual products may vary slightly.

  • Natural products may vary in colour, texture, appearance and consistency.

  • Product sizes and weights may have reasonable manufacturing or filling tolerances.

  • Product availability may change without notice.

  • We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product descriptions or pricing.

Where a product description contains a material error that affects your purchase, you will be entitled to the remedies available under applicable law.
4. Food Products and Allergens
Our products may contain or be made from macadamia nuts.
Customers with nut allergies or other food allergies are responsible for reviewing the product information and ingredient information provided on the website and product packaging.
If you have a severe food allergy or are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, please contact us before placing your order.
We cannot provide medical or dietary advice.
5. Product Use and Storage
Customers are responsible for following the storage, handling and usage instructions provided on product packaging.
Once products have been delivered, customers should store them according to the instructions provided.
Pressed is not responsible for deterioration, damage or contamination resulting from incorrect storage, handling or use after delivery.
Nothing in this clause limits any legal rights you may have where a product was defective, unsafe or not of the required quality when supplied.
6. Prices
All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR).
Unless otherwise stated, prices include applicable VAT where required by law.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
Pressed reserves the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where the law permits otherwise.
7. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected by you.
After placing your order, you will receive an electronic confirmation.
An order is subject to product availability and successful payment.
We reserve the right to contact you if:

  • A product is unavailable;

  • There is an obvious pricing or product-description error;

  • We are unable to deliver to the address provided;

  • Payment cannot be verified; or

  • There is another legitimate reason why the order cannot be fulfilled.

If we cannot fulfil an order that you have already paid for, we will notify you and arrange an appropriate refund in accordance with applicable law.
8. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods made available on our website.
Payment may be processed through third-party payment providers, including Peach Payments.
We do not intentionally store your complete payment-card details.
Payment providers may apply their own terms and conditions and privacy policies.
An order will generally only be processed once payment has been successfully authorised.
Customers should never provide their card PIN, banking password or OTP to Pressed.
9. Delivery
We deliver orders to the delivery address supplied by the customer during checkout.
Delivery charges and estimated delivery times will be displayed during the ordering process where applicable.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by:

  • Courier delays

  • Weather

  • Public holidays

  • Remote delivery locations

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information

  • Events outside our reasonable control

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that orders are dispatched within the period communicated to you.
If we are unable to fulfil an order within the agreed or legally applicable period, you may have rights to cancel the order and receive a refund as provided by law. ECTA provides consumer protections concerning supplier performance and delivery.
10. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address.
If an order cannot be delivered because incorrect or incomplete information was supplied by the customer, additional delivery charges may apply.
Where possible, we will contact the customer to arrange an alternative delivery.
11. Inspection of Goods on Delivery
Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If a package appears visibly damaged, customers should, where reasonably possible:

  1. Photograph the package before opening it;

  2. Photograph any damaged products;

  3. Contact Pressed as soon as possible; and

  4. Provide the order number and relevant photographs.

This does not limit any rights that a consumer has under the CPA.
12. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
Our products are food and consumable products.
For health, hygiene and food-safety reasons, we may not be able to accept the return of products that have been opened, used or tampered with, except where applicable law gives the consumer a right to return the product.
If you receive:

  • The wrong product;

  • A damaged product;

  • A defective product;

  • A product that does not correspond with your order; or

  • A product that does not meet the applicable legal quality requirements,

please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or any other applicable law.
13. Online Cooling-Off Rights
Where a statutory cooling-off right applies to your purchase, you may exercise that right in accordance with applicable law.
Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, consumers may generally have a seven-day cooling-off period for qualifying electronic transactions. However, the legislation provides exceptions, including certain goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly and certain goods that cannot reasonably be returned because of their nature.
Because our products include food products and consumable goods, the applicable statutory exceptions may apply depending on the particular product and circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to remove or restrict a right that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Defective or Unsafe Products
If you believe that a product is defective, unsafe or does not comply with applicable legal requirements, please contact us immediately.
We may request:

  • Your order number;

  • Photographs of the product;

  • Photographs of the packaging;

  • Batch or lot information;

  • The date of purchase; and

  • Other information reasonably required to investigate the matter.

Where a remedy is required under applicable law, we will provide the appropriate remedy.
15. Refunds
Where a refund is approved, the refund will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, where reasonably possible.
The time taken for a refund to reflect in your account may depend on your bank or payment service provider.
Where legislation prescribes a specific refund period, the applicable legal period will apply.
16. Promotions and Discounts
From time to time, Pressed may offer promotions, discounts, special offers or promotional codes.
Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Promotional codes may have expiry dates.

  • Promotions may be subject to specific conditions.

  • We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where permitted by law.

Any promotional terms will be displayed with the relevant promotion.

  • Labour disruptions;

  • Acts of third parties; or

  • Other events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by South African law.
In particular, these Terms and Conditions do not exclude any consumer rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
23. Errors on the Website
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on our website is accurate.
If an obvious error occurs, including an incorrect price or product description, we reserve the right to correct the error.
If an error materially affects an order that you have placed, we will contact you and provide you with the options available under applicable law.

26. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any dispute will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African law and the rights and remedies available to the parties.
